NOMINATIONS for Officers and Committee (new members especially) are invited and can be made at the AGM or to any member of the Committee prior to it. New Committee members are urgently needed.

ANNUAL REPORT for the year ending 31st March, 2012

Events during the year included visits to Kelmscott House, Hammersmith; The Globe Theatre, Bankside; Hogarth House and Chiswick Church; Sandford Manor, Fulham; Fulham Town Hall; Gunnersbury Museum and Park. After the AGM, Sue Pierson gave a talk on Peterborough House, Parsons Green and intends to publish a history. Three Newsletters were issued. The Chairman stressed that more members were needed to help with the running of the Society.


After the formal business Barry Le Jeune, Chairman of the London Transport Museum Friends, will give a talk on


Opened in 1863 as the Metropolitan Railway between Farringdon and Bishop’s Road (Paddington) and then to Hammersmith it grew and grew into the system be have today. Come and here this fascinating talk which will be illustrated with colour slides.
